My Coffee Cart Donates Award-Winning Mobile Coffee Cart for 30 Days to Support Historic World Record Cancer Fundraiser

Melbourne, Victoria — January 2026

Award-winning mobile coffee business My Coffee Cart has announced it will donate its mobile coffee cart hire and a percentage of the sales to support a Guinness World Record attempt at Princes Park, Melbourne — a four-week endurance event raising vital funds for Camp Quality, the Florey Institute, and Conquer Cancer Australia.

Running continuously from 29 January to 28 February 2026, the event is far more than a marathon. It is a non-stop relay challenge, with a baton moving 24 hours a day for four straight weeks, aiming to clock over 6,500 kilometres — a feat that, if successful, will secure a place in the Guinness World Records.

My Coffee Cart will operate on site throughout the event, allowing participants to rent a coffee cart while assisting Conquer Cancer Australia, helping fund life-saving cancer research and support programs.

“This is exactly the kind of initiative we’re proud to stand behind,” said Daniel Mackrell, Founder of My Coffee Cart.

“It’s bold, it’s community-driven, and it’s about making a tangible difference. Donating our coffee cart is our way of keeping people fuelled while contributing directly to the fight against cancer.”

A Month-Long World Record Attempt

Held at Princes Park, Melbourne, the event will see:

•672 runners

•More than 1,000 support crew and volunteers

•A continuously moving baton — day or night, rain or shine

With more participants than a suburban football grand final crowd, runners and supporters are united by a single mission: keep the baton moving and the donations growing.

Guinness World Record Verification

The world record attempt will be verified under strict Guinness World Records protocols. Every baton handover will be:

•Photographed

•Time-stamped

•GPS-tracked

•Independently witnessed

Guinness World Records representatives will review all data to ensure the attempt meets the highest international standards.

Coffee with a Cause

Known for its off-grid, environmentally conscious coffee carts and tourism award recognition, My Coffee Cart has built its reputation on delivering high-quality experiences while giving back to the communities it serves.

“Great coffee brings people together,” Mackrell added.

“If a cup of coffee can spark a conversation, support exhausted runners, and help fund cancer research — that’s a win on every level.”
